He was created before Bugs, Daffy or any of the huge cartoon stars that we know today. He was Warner Brothers first big cartoon star, and even though others have surpassed him he continues to be an enduring icon!
Poor Sylvester! He's probably the biggest loser in cartoons history, well, at least second to Wile E. Coyote anyway. All Sylvester wants, all that would make his life complete and all that he strives for is to eat Tweety Bird. But alas if he did than there wouldn't be a show.
