Band Name Origins

How did Def Leppard come up with their name? Shouldn't it be spelled "Deaf Leopard"? Well, the band's lead singer came up with "Deaf Leopard" as a youngster, and modified it to look more like the name "Led Zeppelin". You get the picture? In this quiz we'll look at the origin of some other band names- from the 1960's and 70's. I'll give you certain clues, maybe an audio clip, and you're on your way! Give it a try.

Singers Who Died In Their 40's

I have done "Singers Who Died in Their 20's and 30's", so I figured why not push the envelope just a little further? Will there be a "Singers Who Died in Their 50's?" I doubt it very much. This quiz will be about singers who died in their 40's or should I say, way before their time should have come? This was very tricky to make and isn't as easy as it seems, especially when you have to think of the singers off the top of your head, which is exactly what I did in this situation. Are you ready for the task at hand? Do you think that you will ace this quiz? Good. So without further adieu, I give you "Singers Who Died in Their 40's". Step up to the microphone and start quizzing. Good luck!
