"Maid" for Television

Okay, the title reads "Maid for Television". This quiz will actually be about maids and butlers from popular television shows that we grew up with. I didn't know how to put butlers in the quiz title, so I put just "maid" in there instead. This quiz should be relatively easy if you know your television shows. Yes, I left out a couple of butlers, maids, housekeepers, etc., but the ones that I provided should definitely ring a bell. So without further adieu, I give you "Maid for Television". Good luck and start quizzing.

Jump the Shark

The term "jump the shark" is a popular expression for the point where a TV show has passed its prime and is on the decline. The term is derived from a "Happy Days" episode where Fonzie water skis over a shark, thus marking the beginning of the show's steep decline. In this quiz we'll look at shows primarily from the 1970's and the point at which they "jumped the shark.”
