My favourite song , was performed by the legendary Beach Boys, that happen to be , one of my favourite bands as well. It s the amazing Good Vibrations, written by musical genius ,Brian Wilson, and went on to become ,a number one hit , by Christmas, 1966. It was voted, best pop song of all times, by an international jury, composed of modern music icons. Brian Wilson spent six months, to work on this masterpiece, of which there are, eleven recorded versions, in seven different studios. To me, Good Vibrations represents, a three and a half minute long compilation, of all what the 1960s stood for: spontaneity, brother- and sisterhood, faith in progress and mankind, optimism. The pop song , was the leitmotiv and musical theme, for the Flower power generation. It shows Brian Wilson, at his creative summum, a zenith he will never surpass. le Mozarts, but so was he. Good Vibrations is the ultimate pop song.
