The 2008 Australian Open

This tournament from Melbourne is shaping up to be a good one. Henin and Sharapova tonight. Federer and Blake tomorrow night. Jankovic just dismantled Serena only moments ago. I have thoroughly enjoyed it. I am looking for the Henin/Sharapova winner to take it all in the ladies singles. And how can you pick against Federer in the men's singles? What do you think?

Smile how are you hitch?im from melbourne and have been watching most matches live but i missed hewitts win against bagdhatis im crazy and all but 4 30am is too late even for me.federers form isnt as dominant as it usually is and i give nadal who as i write this is winning comfortably a huge chance but only a fool bets against rodger the dodger.the womens is a toss of the coin job but i really love this tournament as its the only one i get to see prime time.

Hello Paolo. How are things down under? Near as I can figure, you are about 18 hours ahead of me (U.S. central time zone). The French is 7 hours ahead and Wimbledon is 6 hours ahead. At least there is only a 1 hour difference for me in the U.S. Open. That one is in sanitation's backyard. I am looking forward to the Federer/Blake match tonight live (at 2:30 am CST that is).

things are warming up downunder hitch both the tennis and the weather.when the us open final is played it starts 6 00am our time.yeah it should be a good game tonight federer has looked human at this tournament so far .there was a humorous letter to the editor in the paper today stating the men deserved all the money they were getting but the women should get a gift voucher and a tin of biscuits for thier troubles.

I too was shocked that Federer lost. He is my favorite tennis pro. Federer seemed to struggle the entire tournament. The next grand slam (French) will not help his confidence. But when Wimbledon and the U.S. Open come calling, watch out!

Take Sharapova in the battle of the tennis babes tonight. She should take care of Ana.
