LSU Football Trivia & History

If true, I would like to know the final score and the date of the game where Y.A. Tittle, who later became a very successful NFL quarterback threw a touchdown pass to Alvin Dark who became an all-start NFL shortstop.

Thank you.

Tittle to Dark?

I don't know if he really caught a TD from Yelerton Abraham. Could it be an urban legend ? I know Philadelphia drafte Dark but they never made a big run at signing him.

Dark

I think Alvin Dark played for what is now U of La at Lafayette in 1944 but Tittle played for LSU. Does that seem correct ?

Alvin Dark played for both LSU and La-Lafayette. He is in the LSU Sports Hall of Fame for baseball. There is controversy wheter or not he played football at LSU. Either way , he did not play at the same time as Tittle.
