Book lending ;)

DieZel, you're such a skinflint. If you don't want to give me the whole book, then why dont just send it to me page by page inside bottles? I hope our "isolated" islands will be close to each other so that the whole "bottling" plan works out. Very Happy

I think it would be better if we just use the "air mail" Wink And besides that, if our islands are so close to each other, then I might as well read the book out loud Wink

If our islands are so close that I can hear you reading, then I'll just swim to your island and steal your book Twisted Evil But that would be a bit too unfair, so I'll let you "steal" my books Wink Just don't touch my hamster-powered DVD player Very Happy

Just an FYI..the movie Troy was entirely untrue to the story line of the Illiad. It was a mockery of one of the greatest pieces of literature ever written. You really should pick up Fagles translation and give it a try. The second half of book 2, called the naming of the ships is pretty tedious, so I would recommend simply skimming that part. Otherwise, please dive into an amazing piece of history, literature and broaden your mind.
