If he is anything like Gilligan, Hitch, Eyez or Eve, then check away. His Bulgarian status sort of told me that he was somebody that you knew. I am sure that iskra87 is somebody that you know also. I am just taking a "wild stab" at that one. She is probably his wife and also the other editor that you are referring to.

What does one thing have to do with another ? What does getting his quizzes online faster have to do with him being an editor ? Is there a certain criterion that you have to meet ? I am stumped.

To be an editor, you must know the rules and be a good quiz author, which in turn would require you to write some quizzes first. To learn fast, your quizzes have to be checked, edited and commented on before you write your next quiz, so you don't make the same errors twice. It didn't make sense for those checked quizzes to stay off-line, so I uploaded them for everyone to play.

Oh, okay !!!! Now I know. I wonder if I should take a crack at editing, if I put half the effort into editing that I do into quiz making, the site would benefit greatly. I would hope that it would.

So his arduous training as an editor begins! Will there also be a mythic quest? maybe have to find a sword, slay a dragon or rescue a damsel in distress? Just kidding! But on a MORE serious note! I think wwe as veterans need to inspire others to write quizzes and the site needs to reward quiz writers better! Sometimes we put in the work but do not feel appreciated. Now that could just be our egos at work but I do not think that is the whole reason! I LOVE this site and LOVE quiz writing and do not intend to stop anytime soon! I know that editors are important and the ones here do a good job but also think how disheartening it is to write a quiz or quizzes and see them lie in limbo or quiz pergatory for 1 week, to weeks or even a month just because they have 20 questions. I have written many 20 question quizzes and probably will in the future. i hope it will not take a month for each one!

Nicely put Ronald . I consider you a friend as well. Don't it stink when you check your quiz everyday and there still is not a check next to it? Can you say disenchanting ? It's that you put so much into it and to see it just sit without a name next to it, I would rather you trick me and put an Eve next to it or something. I totally echo those words of "The Phreekmaster General".

Hopefully the new editors will help speed things up. I also hate to see veteran quiz writers wait for their quizzes to get checked.
