Well, it's in the record books. (sorry shimon, I know you hate the record books)
Here are my questions:
Based *SOLELY* on a comparison to the 72 Dolphins...
What will make the Patriots the "Best Team Ever"?
Do they deserve that title now, because they hold the regular season record for wins?
Do they HAVE to win the Super Bowl in the same year to earn that title?
What about 18-0? That would be the best record EVER, and they will already be there before the "Big Game". Are they then the "Best Team Ever?
I'm not looking to debate Dynasty teams in this post. I'm sure we could debate over the legendary teams all day long. I'm just curios what everyone thinks about THIS aspect of the Patriots Dynasty.
What's your take?

MY team is the best team ever and Tom Brady is the greatest quarterback of all-time! He has proven it over and over again! Another Super Bowl win will just be the icing on the cake for this sports dynasty!

Congradulations to the fans of the Patriots and of the Red Sox.The fans of the New England area have always been much better than their teams and this year is no exception.
However, remember , the idea is to win the LAST (19th) game. I hope you are still happy after the last game is played.

Should the Celtics win the NBA championship, would this be the first time the MLB, NFL , and NBA champs are from the same place?Did the Knicks, Mets , and Jets do it also ?

That's a tough one shimon. I think you'd have to string together the '68-'69 Jets, with the '69-'70 Nicks, and of course the '69 Mets in between, wouldn't you? The Jets would have won in January of '69, and the Nicks not until April or May of '70.
