When I was 4, it was "Playground In My Mind" by Clint Holmes.......................................................
but I remember the Summer of 74' perfect. I would sit by a white radio that would sit on the kitchen counter, this was at my aunt's summer house in New Jersey. Both of my grandparents died that summer, so my brother, sister and myself spent lots of time there, while my mom and dad traveled back to NYC. I would wait all day for Paper Lace's "The Night Chicago Died", Bo Donaldson & The Heywoods' "Billy, Don't Be A Hero", Gordon Lightfoot's "Sundown" and Paul Anka & Odia Coates "You're Having My Baby". These songs stick out in my mind from the Summer of 74'. I am sure that there were other songs but nothing compares to these four songs. Man, that was a long time ago.
