Muscular Facts

In the body of an average human, the largest muscle is the Gluteus Maximus. Perhaps you are wondering where it is- you are actually sitting on it at this instant. Even though it is not very certain whether or not the tongue is really the strongest muscle in our body, one other fact about it is for sure- it is the only muscle in your body attached only at one end. An interesting thing to know is that whenever you get angry at somebody you use 42 muscles in your face to frown. At the same time you only use 4 muscles to extend your arm and hit them! However, none of these is necessary, as only 2 muscles are used to move your lips while attempting to smooth the differences.
