James Bond faces a formidable opponent in his fourth spy adventure. The Western world is threatened by S.P.E.C.T.R.E. in the form of atomic blackmail. The dark organization plans to destroy a major city in the U.S. or Britain unless a huge ransom is paid. Operation Thunderball is set up in order to prevent this evil scheme from being realized.
