1980's British New Wave

Great Britain was ground zero for the transition from punk to new wave music in the early to mid 1980's. I'll give you some clues and a sound clip, and you simply choose the correct U.K. new wave artist. If the Psychedelic Furs, Haircut 100, and Boomtown Rats are not in your vocabulary, you may want to scroll to the next quiz. We're going to dig a little deeper than Duran Duran and The Culture Club on this one. If you watched MTV in its early days, have no fear - this may be just your thing!
